Today we had our home inspection. I missed most of it because I had to work. So as soon as I was finished I rushed over to the condo to hear what the inspector had found. It turns out that for the most part it's in good condition. Nothing a few cans of paint, elbow grease, and some kind of training manual on household repairs can't fix. We found one small wet spot that the association is checking out. I'm still trying not to get excited. I don't want to get my hopes up until I have a little more security that this is actually going to happen.
You see in a declining market certain neighborhoods have to be approved for purchase through the lender. And we are waiting on the paperwork that says whether we are or are not. So until I have that assurance I am guarding my heart. The thought of having to start this process all over again is overwhelming, but the desire to not have a broken heart is stronger. So we continue to pray and wait (i'm getting good at that). Pray with us that all works out well in the end.
