We bought a House!

A condo actually =). A two bedroom, two bath place to build dreams in. We went from an accepted offer to closing in 2 weeks. We'll be officially moving to the suburbs. I had some trouble at first with leaving the wonderful area in which we live now, but the idea of our own space is enough to push those feelings aside.

We closed on Thursday and immediately started cleaning. Friday we bought paint and began prepping, priming, and taping. Saturday we painted some more. Poor L has been doing most of the painting alone since I have to work. But I promised to contribute more this coming week. There is no hurry to move since we have a full month to do so. However, the quicker we get away from big-foot who has been living above us for the last 2 months, yappy dog who barks at 6 am across the hall, and the bass master that makes our walls vibrate next to us, the happier we will be =).
